Silicon Sentier is a team of 2.0 activists between the ages of 22 and 50 who believe that redistribution of power thanks to the Internet and the emergence of digital culture are powerful tools that can change the world. At the helm of this team, a group of men and women that foster the collaboration with institutional, industrial, and strategic actors, a group that shows great faith in the ability of the new generation to understand and support innovation.
Le Camping is a project created by the association of Silicon Sentier, bringing together startups the greater Parisian area. For more than 11 years now, startups and large IT companies have been putting their trust in us, so much so that today we have no fewer than 160 members. Set up in 2000, the association has borne witness to the rise of the digital economy and has participated in the emergence of a highly innovative ecosystem in the region of Ile de France. Year after year, the organization’s ambition has been to launch new projects such as the opening and development of La Cantine (coworking space), the release of Silicon Maniacs, the media, Silicon Xperience, the usages laboratory for startups or the launch of Le Camping.
Silicon Sentier is at the heart of the local, national, and international high-tech ecosystem. This privileged position allows us to identify the relevant actors and to bring them together around common themes. Through the seemingly perpetual liveliness of the sector, the association has manage to weave a solid fabric of relationships and an understanding of the needs and characteristics of communities and professionals in the world of IT. Our goal is to provide an approach that is evolving and relevant, quality-oriented and targeted specifically at actors in innovation.
Whether it be through the events that we create or those that we monitor closely in conjuction with many tech communities, we can identify trends, explain phenomenons and connect players on emerging innovation topics. This monitoring helps qualified companies position themselves in a particular field of innovation and develop their already well-honed skills. This process of positioning and development, paired with Silicon Sentier's industry know-how, leads to organized communities on themes related to technical, business, social, and usage issues.
